Upload your audio file and our system analyzes the spectral fingerprint to identify AI-generated artifacts. It then applies targeted frequency processing, pitch correction, and temporal adjustments to remove these artifacts while preserving the original character of your music. You get a before/after AI score comparison.

Two different cleaning recipes — they produce comparable AI scores but the resulting sound is noticeably different.

• V1 Classic — Hard Clean. More aggressive processing using narrow notch filters and double-pass pitch shift. Tends to give the lowest AI score, but the sound may feel slightly altered (a touch of "processed" character on sustained notes).
• V3 Natural — Soft Clean. Gentler processing using sample-rate manipulation and time-stretch. Preserves the original timbre and dynamics better, runs ~5× faster. AI score reduction is comparable to V1 in most cases.

Both methods are non-destructive and preserve loudness. We recommend starting with V3 Natural if the music quality matters most, and switching to V1 Classic if you need the absolute lowest AI score and don't mind a slightly more processed sound. Try both on the same track to hear the difference.

We accept MP3, WAV, FLAC, OGG, M4A, and AAC files up to 100MB. The cleaned output is always delivered as a high-quality 24-bit 48kHz WAV file to preserve maximum audio fidelity.

Typically 1–3 minutes depending on track length and complexity. The system performs multiple analysis passes including AI detection, spectral analysis, adaptive cleaning, and quality verification. Please don’t close the browser tab during processing.

Our system is designed to preserve the original character of your music. It uses narrow-band processing that targets only AI artifacts, with automatic loudness matching to maintain the original volume level. However, some minor spectral changes are inevitable — that’s what makes the AI fingerprint undetectable.

Yes. artefactFX performs AI artifact removal, not mastering. The cleaned file will need further mastering (EQ, compression, limiting, loudness optimization) before release. We recommend treating the cleaned file as a pre-master and running it through your usual mastering chain or sending it to a mastering engineer.
